Violet Lovelace is an OC I created for the Great God Grove fandom. They are a self-described tortured artist who has been turning their house into an art installation for over a decade pre-game, called the Pomegranate House. The house is also alive. Violet keeps to themself, doesn't talk to their family, and doesn't have a lot of friends. Maybe that can change?

This page contains spoilers for Great God Grove.

Great God Grove

After the events of the game, the close call with a world-ending apocalypse spurs Violet to finish work on their art installation, and they managed to have their grand opening exactly one year after the Rift closed. However, due to not having any connections in the art world, nor many friends in general, no one shows up to their grand opening… except, by pure chance, a group of ex-Bizzyboys and the ex-God of Leadership.

Hector is a little nervous about being out in public, but he wants to have a nice day out with the boys and Patty, and an art exhibition that no one else is at might be nice. He and Violet have a cordial interaction, and then his group is left to progress through the house at their own pace. This goes fine until Bananathaniel goes missing.

It quickly becomes clear to Violet that something's up with the house, and they have to join Hector and friends to figure out what. During this, Violet and Hector start to get to know each other better, and the two make plans to meet up after Ban is found and the situation resolved.

They start dating each other a few weeks later.

Relationships

Hector: One year and change postgame, Violet and Hector are in a romantic relationship. They can talk to each other easily, and the two of them discover they enjoy spending time together. They're both nervous about it–Violet hasn't dated anyone in the decade they've been focused on their work, and Hector worries he carries too much baggage to have a normal relationship. Regardless, they make it work.

The Pomegranate House: All the love and passion Violet put into their art resulted in the house becoming a living object. They have a somewhat familial relationship; not quite parent and child, but they are so closely intertwined with each other that, after Violet figures out what's going on, the two consider each other family.
